The Ancient History of eLearning

If you remember back when “Learning & Development” was called “Corporate Training” or a time before cloud-hosted LMSs, you’ll enjoy seeing some of my work that was innovative and award-winning at the time.

  • I created Flash animations & interactivities, screencasts (in Robohelp, which eventually became Captivate), and created course templets (complete with handscripted, context-sensitive navigation menus)
  •  I designed and maintained the LMS & LCMS for GreenPoint Financial, NorthFork Bank, and eventually the mortage division of CapitalOne.
  • I designed and maintained the Training Department homepage (from our internal server) and provided direct support on all learning technology & audio/video to our team of 30+ trainers across the country
  • I hand-coded an asset management system for our reusable learning objects, with an integrated session request form and bug tracker (ASP, PHP, JS)
